O.k., maybe you guys won't think this is funny, but I was reading this passage in 1 Corinthians 1: 14 – 16:
"Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, so that no one may say that you were baptized in my name. (I did baptize also the household of Stephanas. Beyond that, I do not know whether I baptized anyone else.)"
And I got to the end where Paul starts listing the people that he baptized in Corinth and keeps adding to the list (in a very stream of consciousness moment) and at the end he's just like, "Well, I can't remember who else I baptized…" and I started laughing so hard. It must be wonderful to be so overflowing with the Gospel that you can't remember how many people in a particular city you baptized! I love Paul.
If it wasn't funny to you, please chalk it up to pre go-brain ;)
